Our last day of trading in 1 Railway avenue is Saturday 14th January 2012.
We are delighted to announce that we are organising an ‘Open Day’ at 4 Main Street on Sunday 15th January 2012 between 10.30am and 2.00pm.
The office will be closed on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th and will open to members on Wednesday 18th January 2012.

To celebrate International Credit Union Day, and to mark 2011 as the Year of the Volunteer, the ILCU Archive Exhibition was launched by RTE’s John Hume and Joe Duffy on Wednesday 19th October 2011 .
The venue for the exhibition is the world famous Oisín Gallery, Westland Row, Dublin 2 (beside St Andrews Church and Pearse Street Dart Station).
The exhibition will be open every day from 19th to 26th October 2011 from 9am to 5.30 pm (Monday to Friday) and Saturday 10am to 5.30pm – closed on Sunday.

Winners Junior Section
The 2011 Malahide leg of the Irish League of Credit Unions Annual Schools Quiz took place on Monday 7th February in St. Sylvesters GAA Hall. The quiz is contested by teams from the local primary schools. This year 11 teams took part.
Winners Senior Section
There are two sections – Junior (under 11) and Senior (under 13). This year both sections were won by St. Oliver Plunkett National School and the winners will go forward to the Chapter level, in Alsaa next month. Well done to the two teams pictured here who will go on to represent Malahide at the next stage of the competition. Junior team: Aoife McStay, John Gleeson, Peter Tumulty and Aoibhe Murphy, pictured with Bryan O’Flaherty, Chairman of Malahide & District Credit Union Ltd. Senior winners are Jamie Kennedy, Dylan McCaul, Daniel Deneher and Conrad Oppermann.

Dividend
A dividend of 0.5% was approved by members attending last nights AGM. The dividend was posted to accounts today. The Treasurer Mr. Donal Murphy said “The dividend has been set at 0.5%. The Board did consider paying no dividend this year, due to the continued financial situation that pertains at this time. However the prudent policy of enhancing reserves over the past few years enables the payment of a reasonable dividend for the year and we are pleased to be in a position to do so”
